A woman named Carrie Elbe from Breese Illinois shared an adorable video of her Newborn baby Landry on social media. Carie’s family and friends were all happy with Landry’s arrival, in particular grandad James Keleman Carie’s father was overwhelmed on seeing his grandchild in the for the first time.
To elevate his happiness Landry was born on his granddad's birthday and they named him Landry James, just to take his grandfather's name. And that was not all of it, Granddad was super excited after knowing that Landry was a boy, it really sparked his excitement as the family has been keeping it a secret from him for months. Granddad James had been always surrounded by females in his family. He was the only boy out of three and he also had four daughters and two granddaughters. Everyone in the family knew that the baby was a boy except for grandad, the family wanted to make this special for granddad so they decided to keep this a secret from him until Landry was born.
Although it was difficult to keep the truth from him, the family managed to do it. Even Carie’s 4-year-old daughter didn’t reveal the truth to her granddad. When grandad saw his grandchild he was wearing a Onesie and it was written, FYI: I’m a boy!. On seeing that, he was surprised and happy, he couldn’t believe he had a grandson. He was also astounded by the fact that the family had been hiding the secret for nearly nine months.
In the video, he said, “NO WAY” and was seen chuckling and calling his family members brats. Carie said, “I still can’t believe we pulled this off” Although her father was happy and thankful to just be a dad again, the surprising reveal made him even happier. The prideful granddad wrote on social media: “Well, I was stoked about having one more granddaughter and that too on my birthday….only to know everyone kept it a secret about my first grandson!” “Meet my grandson Landry James Elbe!!!!”
