A few months ago, a video of a woman, who was videotape to her seat after she tried to Misb-have and hu-t a flight attendant on an American Airlines flight went viral. Recently, she was asked to pay $82,000 as a fine for her behaviour, which happens to be the highest ever fine imposed on anyone by American Airlines. The woman was aboard a flight from Dallas Fort Worth to Charlotte when she slipped by and fell into the aisle.
When a flight attendant offered to help her, she got combative. She pushed the flight attendant and repeatedly hi-t another attendant while trying to open the cabin door. So they tried to stop her by getting her fetters, but she ended up spi-ting at the flight attendant while trying to bit-e and ki-ck the other passengers. The staff immediately got her mouth sealed, and on reaching Charlotte, she was sent for medical examination. Paramedics were seen standing near the gate with stretchers.
The woman was for-ced to stay in the seat until the other passengers disembarked from the flight. American Airlines confirmed that they did so keeping in mind the safety of other passengers. American Airlines also put her name on the 'no-fly' list. The Federal Aviation Administration has been witnessing a rise in the number of passengers since the beginning of COV 19. Pete Buttigieg, the Transportation secretary, warned passengers not to behave like 'j-rks' before he went ahead to announce the fine.
He said that being grumpy is understandable but trying to end-nger the other passengers and flight attendants was not tolerable. Buttigieg also warned people that if one tried to cause chaos and end-nger the other passengers, they would be subject to illegal prosecution.
