And here I am, sharing this amazing story with you. What I’m about to tell you is going to be a story that will live through generations- a tale so good that your grandkids will probably be telling their grandkids about it. A man decided to propose to his girlfriend for an entire month without her knowing and he’s got all of the pictures to prove it. Get the tissues ready, guys! This is Edi Okoro with his girlfriend, Cally Read. The two have been in a relationship for a while now. Okoro knew that Cally was the one, so the only thing left to do was to pop that all-important question. The next dilemma was timing. When is the perfect time to get down on one knee and ask: “Will you marry me?” Okoro couldn’t decide, so this is what he did instead. Over the course of a month, he decided to document himself hiding the ring that the wanted to propose with. But here’s the catch. He hid it in plain sight and managed to get aside with taking pictures without his girlfriend even noticing! Smooth or what? So, without further ado, here are the photos that left the internet gushing!
1. “It’s right behind you!”
I can almost hear a pantomime audience screaming this at her. He even managed to take two selfies! One social media user commented, saying: “I really love this one!” So do we!

This hiding place is genius. When you’re running out of your house, you’re less likely to notice an engagement ring, right?
3. “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend.”
Edi bought this ring earlier in the year, hoping that he would be able to propose to his long-term girlfriend. Little did he know that it would take a whole month!

He then wrote: “This made it even more of a challenge because Cally knows this, and the moment I planned a holiday or meal she would have clocked on to what I was about to do.”

“After a month or so of waiting for the right moment, I was sitting on the sofa admiring ‘my precious’ (yes I became very attached to this ring by this point) Cally almost caught me staring at the ring, and it hook me!”

“All these missed opportunities mixed in with the thought Cally doesn’t know I have the ring!! I should just start documenting these moments!” And so it continues “This escalated quickly into trying to get as many photos of Cally with the ring without her knowing! Yes she had no idea what I was doing in these photos!”

“The idea was to take as many photos, in more daring scenarios, until I found the perfect moment to propose, or until I got caught, at which point I would propose!” This picture is our personal favorite!
In the end, Edi did end up popping the question when the moment was right.
